oncology

Gynecologic Oncology is a specialized field of medicine dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancers affecting the female reproductive system. It focuses on improving clinical outcomes through early detection, advanced diagnostic techniques, innovative treatment approaches, and multidisciplinary care for women with gynecological malignancies.

This field encompasses ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, uterine cancer, vulvar cancer, vaginal cancer, and gestational trophoblastic neoplasia. It also explores advances in cancer screening, molecular diagnostics, genetic testing, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and minimally invasive and robotic-assisted oncological surgery. Additional areas of focus include hereditary cancer risk assessment, fertility preservation, survivorship care, palliative care, and strategies to improve the quality of life of patients undergoing cancer treatment.

The World Congress on Gynecology and Women’s Health Care 2027 (WCWH-2027) provides a platform for gynecologic oncologists, gynecologists, surgical specialists, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, researchers, and healthcare professionals to exchange scientific knowledge, present clinical research, discuss emerging treatment strategies, and advance innovative approaches to the prevention and management of gynecological cancers worldwide.
