Sexual and Reproductive Rights

rights

Sexual and Reproductive Rights focuses on protecting and promoting the fundamental rights of individuals to make informed, autonomous decisions about their sexual and reproductive health. It emphasizes access to comprehensive healthcare, accurate health information, voluntary family planning, safe maternity care, and respectful, non-discriminatory medical services. This field highlights the importance of dignity, bodily autonomy, informed consent, privacy, gender equality, and equitable access to reproductive healthcare throughout different stages of life.

This area encompasses reproductive health education, contraception and family planning, maternal healthcare, infertility care, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, menstrual health, and access to safe and appropriate reproductive health services. It also explores reproductive justice, gender-based violence prevention, adolescent reproductive health, ethical considerations in reproductive medicine, healthcare policy, and the social and cultural factors that influence access to care. Particular attention is given to reducing health inequalities and ensuring that individuals receive respectful, confidential, evidence-based healthcare without discrimination.

The World Congress on Gynecology and Women’s Health Care 2027 (WCWH-2027) provides a platform for gynecologists, public health specialists, researchers, policymakers, legal experts, and healthcare professionals to exchange scientific knowledge, discuss ethical and policy developments, present research findings, and promote collaborative approaches to advancing sexual and reproductive health, rights, and well-being worldwide.
