Aya Mohr-Sasson

Aya Mohr-Sasson, MD, is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon specializing in complex benign gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, uterine scar defects, and pelvic floor disorders. She has expertise in different surgical techniques including advanced laparoscopic, robotic, and vNOTES surgeries.

Dr. Mohr-Sasson earned her medical degree from Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Sheba Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecology at UTHealth Houston. Her clinical and research interests include uterine scar defects, cesarean scar pregnancy, vNOTES, pelvic floor dysfunction, and surgical outcomes. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and served as principal investigator for multiple clinical studies
