Yerlan Mukanov

Yerlan Mukanov, MD, PhD, is a highest qualification category Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Gynecological Endosurgeon, serving as Head of the Department of Gynecology at Uniserv Medical Center (Uralsk, Kazakhstan). He is a co-founder of the Kazakh Association of Gynecological Endoscopists and an active member of the international initiative Gynecology Without Borders.
Dr. Mukanov specializes in organ-preserving surgery for complex and large uterine fibroids, advanced intrauterine surgery, and pelvic floor reconstructive operations for severe genital prolapse. He actively integrates radiofrequency ablation (RFA) techniques for fibroids and adenomyosis into clinical practice. Holding additional board certifications in surgery, oncology, urology, and radiology, he has authored over 50 scientific publications and have patented surgical methods. Dr. Mukanov is a frequent speaker at international congresses, including ESGE 32 and ESGE 33, as well as regional surgical conferences across Central Asia and the Caucasus.
